Overview:
Tables can be added within a text section to display information in a structured, grid-based layout.
Adding a table:
- Hover over the text section — an additional toolbar will appear.
- On the right side of this toolbar, select the table icon.
- Choose the number of rows and columns.
Note: Table sections resize automatically based on the content entered into each cell. To adjust sizing, add content to a cell — the table will resize accordingly.
Editing table style:
Click on the table to open the table options panel. From here you can:
- Add or remove rows and columns
- Delete the table entirely
- Open Table Properties for styling (Most left option)
Table Properties has two tabs:
- General — width, height, cell spacing, cell padding, border, caption, and Caption alignment.
- Advanced — style, border colour, and background colour.
Tip: If a table isn't formatting correctly, copy a table from a Word or Google document and paste it in — this preserves the original structure and formatting. You may need to adjust the colour scheme afterward to match your template. To reposition text within a table cell, use the text alignment options in the toolbar that appears when editing the cell.
Rendering in the email:
Pasting a pre-formatted table (from Word or Google Docs) is the most reliable way to get consistent formatting. Building and repositioning table sections manually within the builder is more prone to formatting issues.
