Overview:
The Audience page is where you create and manage Presets and Custom Filters. This article explains what each one is, how to set them up, and how they work with Smart Filters across your account.
What are Presets?
Presets are ready-made Smart Filters that are shared across your account. Once a Preset is created, every user in your account can access it and add it to their own Smart Filters, so they don't have to rebuild the same filters each time. Presets can't be limited to one team. Treat them as a shared resource for your whole agency.
Global Presets:
Global Presets are ready-made filters that iRealty provides to every account. They cover common targeting needs that suit any agency, such as hot leads, new subscribers and recent buyers. Global Presets give every account a consistent starting point for Smart Filters without anyone building those filters from scratch.
Global Presets are created and maintained by iRealty and can't be edited from your account. If you've built a Preset you think would help every agency, contact iRealty Customer Success to have it considered as a Global Preset.
Create a Preset:
- Hover over Subscribers and select Audience. The page shows your Custom Filters and Presets.
- Click Create Preset.
- Enter a name and description, then click Create Preset.
- The new Preset appears in the Presets list. Click the pencil icon to set up its Smart Filter settings, or the delete icon to remove it.

Use Presets in a Smart Filter:
Once created, a Preset is available in the Smart Filter builder in both Grid View and Advanced Filters. Click a Preset to switch it on, and click it again to switch it off. You can combine Presets with each other and with other filter options. For example, an office-wide Preset that already contains most of the filters you need makes building a new Smart Filter faster.
Note: Presets can also be selected in automation audience settings once they've been created.
What are Custom Filters?
Custom Filters are Smart Filters you have created and saved. The Custom Filters list lets you review, edit, copy or delete them without going through the Subscribers tab each time.
Each Custom Filter has a Convert to Preset option (the star icon). Clicking it copies the Custom Filter's conditions into a new Preset that everyone in your account can use. The original Custom Filter stays unchanged.
