How Market Interest Is Determined
iRealty identifies a subscriber’s market interest by analysing how they interact with your emails.
This includes actions such as:
- Clicking appraisal banners
- Viewing sold properties
- Submitting enquiries
- Engaging with buying or selling content
These behaviours help the system determine whether a contact is likely upsizing, downsizing, buying or selling.
This process updates automatically, giving you accurate insight without manual work.
Where to View Market Interest
When you log into iRealty:
- Your dashboard will show how many subscribers have been identified in each interest category.
- For example, you may see that contacts have been labelled as “Selling.”
To explore further:
- Click the category, such as Selling.
- You will see a list of subscribers who match that interest.
- Click a subscriber’s name to open their profile and view the activity that led to their classification.
See Market Interest Through Email Reports
You can also identify interest indicators through reporting:
- Go to Reports and then Emails.
- Open your most recent email report by clicking on the title or the "View Report" button.
- Scroll down to see each subscriber’s engagement.
For example, if a contact clicks the appraisal banner, views multiple sold properties and submits an enquiry, this behaviour strongly indicates they are a potential seller.
Create a Smart Filter Based on Market Interest
This allows you to target specific segments automatically.
- Go to Subscribers, then Filters.
- Select Create Smart Filter.
- Set your rules, such as:
- Subscriber is Active (has engaged with at least one campaign in the past 90 days)
- Market Interest is Selling
- Subscriber has clicked at least one campaign in the last 90 days
- Click Save Filter at the bottom left and name it, for example Warm Sellers.
The filter will now pull in all matching subscribers.
Use Your Market Interest Filter to Send Targeted Emails
When sending a campaign:
- Go to Campaigns, then Emails.
- Open the email you want to send.
- Click Send.
- Click Smart filters.
- Select your filter, such as Warm Sellers.
This ensures your email goes to a smaller, highly relevant segment rather than your entire database.
Why This Matters
Using market interest allows you to:
- Send more personalised messages
- Improve engagement
- Reduce unsubscribes
- Identify high-value leads automatically
iRealty keeps this information updated based on behaviour, so your targeting remains accurate over time.
