Learn the difference between templates and emails, and how each one is used in your marketing.
What Is a Template?
A template is the foundational structure for your emails.
It includes elements that stay consistent, such as:
- Branding
- Colours
- Fonts
- Layout sections
- Reusable content blocks your office uses regularly
Templates provide a pre-designed framework so you do not have to rebuild your emails each time.
What Is an Email?
An email is the customised, finished version that your subscribers receive.
This is where you add creative content:
- Personal messages
- Updated property selections
- Current articles
- Seasonal information
- Call to action blocks
Even if the template remains the same, each email can include new or updated content before sending.
View and Edit Your Template
- Go to Campaigns and then Templates.
- Open your template (for example, Property Newsletter).
- You will see the template layout, which may include:
- A title
- Text block
- Agent contact information
- Feature property
- Call to action
- Current listings
- Just sold
- Articles
If there is a section you do not like, you can modify it directly in your template.
Generate an Email from Your Template
When your template is ready:
- Select Generate Email at the bottom of the page.
- Name your email.
- Click Create.
The email builder will open, allowing you to customise the email before sending.
