User Guide:
Getting Started with Suburb Reports
Suburb Reports is a branded landing page your contacts can visit to explore live market data for any suburb you cover. It shows median prices, recent sales, days on market, rental data and an interactive map. The page is powered by the Domain API in real time and includes a built-in appraisal request form so contacts can request a property appraisal directly from the page.
Check Your Suburbs are Set Up
Before sharing a Suburb Report with anyone, make sure your suburbs are configured.
Click on your Profile → Suburb Report Settings.
You have two options here:
-
Automatic (Recommended Suburbs) — If you've had active listings in the last six months, iRealty will automatically pull those suburbs in for you. No setup needed, it just works. A Use Recommended Suburbs button will appear if no suburbs have been added manually.
-
Manual — You can search and add specific suburbs yourself. Once you add even one manually, it overrides the automatic list. You can also upload a custom header image per suburb.
Set Your Branding
- Header Color — the colour used in the page header
- Chart Color — the colour used across all charts and graphs
- Map Postcode Color — the highlight colour on the interactive map
- Header Image — your banner image (upload at 1920px wide for best results)
Hit Save when done.
Add it in An Email Campaign
Suburb Reports don't send automatically, you drive traffic to the page by adding a link to any email campaign you send. Here's how:
- Open the Email Builder and create or edit a campaign
- Add a CTA banner and set the link to your suburb report URL:
-
(Optional) When choosing your audience, use the "Owns Property in Suburb Report area" filter to target contacts who live in or own property in one of your configured suburbs
- Send or schedule as normal
When a contact clicks the link, they'll land on the suburb report for their suburb. The system figures out which suburb to show based on their profile automatically.
How the Page Picks the Correct Suburb
When a contact opens your suburb report link, iRealty chooses their default suburb in this order:
- The suburb saved in their contact profile
- The top suburb from their buyer survey (if they've completed one)
- The top suburb from their buyer profile preferences
- Your office suburb as a fallback
They can also switch suburbs themselves using the interactive map or the search dropdown (the dropdown appears once you have more than 8 suburbs configured).
What Your Contacts Will See
The page shows them:
- Median price, days on market, sales volume, discount, median rent, and active listings
- Charts for median price, rental, and listing price over 6 months / 1 year / 3 years
- Sales and demographics breakdowns
- An appraisal request form at the bottom
