How Vault Connects to iRealty:
This article explains how Vault integrates with your iRealty account — what syncs, how, and what's recorded on each side.
Setting Up Contacts:
Contacts are set up using your Vault access token. This does not change how Vault operates day to day — the integration simply allows your contacts to sync into iRealty.
What Happens with Subscribers:
iRealty tracks each subscriber's activity — opens, clicks, property enquiries, and more — and updates their profile in iRealty accordingly. Most of this activity stays in iRealty, where it builds your send database and matches subscribers to account categories to better target their preferences and lift engagement.
Some activity is written back to Vault as a contact note — for example, property alert clicks or factsheet downloads are logged under an iRealty Campaign Interactions note, visible to the relevant agent. Raw engagement data and scoring stay in iRealty and are not transferred back to Vault.
Send Unsubscribes Back:
When a subscriber unsubscribes through iRealty, Vault is updated automatically — no manual action is required on your end. A note is added to the contact confirming the unsubscribe came through iRealty.
| Note: this updates only the Email unsubscribe flag in Vault. Vault's separate SMS and Letters preferences are unaffected, so a contact who unsubscribes from iRealty emails may still receive SMS or mail communications through Vault unless those are updated separately.
iRealty Groups:
Catergories/groups that you have created will be sent through the integration. Those Catergories/groups will be linked via a Vault code, allowing for daily updates and trackability. These groups can then be edited and/or sent from when sending your EDMs.
| note: The subscribers must be updated for those changes to be sent through. This may lead to groups being slightly lower due to subscriber's profiles not being updated to bring them into that group. Bulk updates won't always update this on a subscribers profile.
Connecting Properties:
When connecting properties, your integration runs through either Vault directly or MyDesktop — two separate CRM types which are both under the Vault name. If you're not sure which one your properties connect through, let the Customer Service team know so they can confirm and set it up correctly. The steps below are the same either way.
An XML code connects your properties to iRealty. Once active, property changes made in Vault flow through to iRealty within roughly 5–20 minutes. You can use more than one XML code, provided all codes belong to the same CRM.
A property won't sync if:
- It hasn't been marked to push through to iRealty.
- It's marked as off-market or hidden.
- It's linked to a different XML code than the one your iRealty account uses.
To resolve any of these, update the relevant setting in Vault and allow the property portal to push the change through.
Adding Properties Manually:
If you'd rather not sync a property automatically, you can add it manually — either as a full property in iRealty or as a property card entry only.
To add a full property: go to the Properties section in iRealty, click the green + button beside "Properties," enter the property details in the pop-up, upload images, select a hero image, and save. The property will then be accessible from the Import section.
