Overview:
This guide explains how to create an agent account in iRealty and how to obtain login credentials for that account.
Creating a login:
An agent login can be created in one of two ways:
- Via the CRM. If an agent account already exists in your CRM, or you create one there, a matching iRealty account is created automatically during the daily sync.
- Manually, which requires administrator access to the Agents settings.
Creating an agent account manually:
Click your name in the top-right corner to open the account menu, then select Agents. On the Agents page, click Add agent to open the new agent form.
The following fields are available when creating or editing an agent:
- First name
- Last name
- Mobile
- Office phone
- Fax
- Code (used when importing from the CRM)
- Title (the agent's role in the office — e.g. Admin, Principal, Sales)
- Website
- Administrator email
- Administrator phone
- Social media (Facebook, Instagram, etc.)
- Menu access (controls which areas the agent can access, e.g. Subscribers, Campaigns)
- Account access (e.g. Manager, Own subscribers, Own properties)
| Note: Menu access and Account access can only be changed by a user with Manager-level access. Managers have broader permissions than regular agents, including the ability to update other agents' accounts.
This same screen is also where you edit an agent's existing details and change their login username or password — but only after the iRealty Customer Service team has created the agent's initial credentials (see below).
| Note: If you update an agent's username, you must also update their password at the same time. Changing only the password does not require a login change.
| Warning: An agent's password cannot be the same as their email address. Setting the login to match the email address will lock the account. If this happens, contact support@irealty.com.au to have the password reset.
Requesting login credentials:
Once an agent's account is ready to use, credentials must be issued before they can log in. Only the iRealty Customer Service team can create these — email support@irealty.com.au to request them. The team will create the credentials and advise you of any steps needed to log in, which may include resetting the password from the login page or updating it directly using the steps above.
